Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival in Cochin-Kumarakom (By Road-49 kilometres) Sightseeing
Upon arrival at the airport in Cochin, meet our tour representative, after welcome, proceed to Kumrakom. Kumarakom is one of the major tourist destination of the state of Kerala. It is renowned for backwater, located on the Vembanad Lake, which is the largest lake of fresh water.
Check-in at a backwater resort. After freshen up , proceed to visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, it is Protected by a thick cluster of mangroves, the bird sanctuary spread across 14 acres and home to over 180 species of birds. It is best to visit on foot by one and half kilometres on walking trek, where you are likely to spot heron, darters, water duck, waterfowl, owl, cuckoo and Siberian crane.
You may also take some adventure activities like water skiing and windsailing.
Stay overnight at the backwater resort.
Day 2 : Kumarakom Sightseeing
Today after breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Kumarakom, enjoy the backwater cruise on the placid waters of Lake Vembanad. Explore the Kettuvallaum which is a traditional houseboat.
Later explore the surrounding coconut grooves along with the beautiful locations. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 : Kumarakom-Alleppey (By Road-32 kilometres) Sightseeing
Post breakfast, proceed to Alleppey. Alappuzha also known as Alleppey. It is one of the oldest planned city of the Kerala, located about 75 kilometres away from Kochi and about 155 kilometres from Trivandrum. It is one of the popular tourist destination of India. It is famous for backwaters. There are at least six navigable canals in the town.
Upon arrival at Alleppey, check-in at the houseboat. The houseboat has well-equipped rooms with all modern comforts. Overnight at Alleppey.
Day 4 : Alleppey-Cochin (By Road-54 kilometres)
